Bought Myself a Vaio Mini-Laptop

I bought myself a Sony VAIO VPC-W12Z1R. I ordered the “white” one (w), but they sold me the “snow-white” one (wz). I liked the snow-white one better, though, so I didn’t even ask what that was all about. I bought it from Smartshop, 6,000 rubles cheaper ($200) than at Key. Had no problems with the purchase—overall, I recommend the store.

As for the netbook itself, according to Sony, it’s actually not a netbook but a mini-laptop. Apparently, they don’t have netbooks and never will. In reality, it’s a very well-made, stylish, and expensive netbook :)

Programming on it isn’t particularly comfortable, but I think I’ll get used to it.
For writing on my little blog, hanging out in the terminal, and reading the interwebs, though—it’s just the thing.

It also came with a VAIO sleeve and mouse!
