FreeBSD. Passwordless SSH Access Using Encrypted Keys
There are two machines running FreeBSD 7.1, and we need to set up SSH access using encrypted keys.

Let’s go!
Run this on the first machine:
# ssh-keygen
Accept the default values for all prompts.
On the second machine, go to the home directory of the user we’ll be logging in as and create the .ssh directory:
# mkdir ~/.ssh
In the directory we just created, create a file named authorized_keys and copy the contents of ~/.rss/id_rsa.pub from the first machine into it.
That’s it! We should now be able to connect from the first machine to the second machine over ssh—without a password!
