Added Gravatars to the Theme
Gravatar is short for “Globally Recognized Avatar,” meaning an avatar you can use practically anywhere. A Gravatar is tied to a specific email address, which in turn serves as its identifier.
How does it work? You leave a comment, and the blog uses your email address to contact the Gravatar service and display your image—provided, of course, that you have registered with the service.
I added Gravatar by following the Using Gravatars tutorial in the WordPress Codex.
