Sun Tech Days 2008
Since I subscribe to Sun’s newsletter, the other day I received an invitation to attend the Sun Tech Days 2008 conference, which will take place in St. Petersburg on April 2–4, 2008, at the Yubileyny Sports Palace, 18 Dobrolyubova Avenue (Sportivnaya metro station).
Sun Tech Days is more than just Russia’s largest international conference on Java and Solaris technologies. It is a meeting place for everyone who develops and uses modern information technologies: developers and system administrators, researchers, students, and teachers.
The conference program includes more than 60 interesting talks and workshops on Solaris, JavaFX, JavaCard, Netbeans, Java SE, Java ME, and Java EE, as well as Sun Microsystems’ largest open-source platforms—GlassFish, PhoneME, and OpenJDK.
Attendance at the conference is free. Visitors from other cities can get advice on choosing a hotel. Business travel certificates can be stamped right at the conference.
The conference is organized with support from the following companies:
- Oracle
- AMD
- Intel
- Ericsson
- Lynx
- Elcom
Media support:
- CitCity
Media sponsors:
